Issue 227 – Textured Ski Hat in Inca Alpaca I am fortunate to be part of a wonderful knit night. Practically every Thursday night we get together to chat and share our knitting projects. Jane Anthony is a talented and creative member of our group who often comes in with wonderful creations from her own designs. She has a great eye for color and a talent for texture. The Yarn: Inca Alpaca 100% Baby Alpaca Inca Alpaca is soft, sturdy and very warm - even when wet. Alpaca is a smoother fiber than wool, giving it a luster that many wools lack. It's also a dry fiber; there is no lanolin to worry about if you're one of the folks who reacts to lanolin in wool.
